Takes one to know one
This blog was blocked a few days back. Why? Because a bunch of senior IAS Officers (a.k.a. babus) decided over one of their numerous tea breaks that terrorists communicate via blogs.
senior babu: sllluuuurrrp. aaaahhh. so what to do about this blog-shlog saar?
big babu: slllurp. slurp. slurp. bhaat ij this blaag?
junior babu (eager to please): saar terrorisht taalk aan thee blaag.
big babu: michael, go on cycle, and blaack thee blaag. (whatever that is)
senior babu: (munching on biskoot) chomp. chomp. gulp. slurrrp. ok saar.
(so michael, goes on cycle and blocks the blog)
Walk into any babus office. You'll see a computer behind his desk. Probably neatly covered with a plastic or cloth cover, with perhaps a little flower vase or photograph perched on it.
Do you know how to use it? Nyet.
Do you check your email? No, my PA does menial jobs like that.
Do you know how to check email? Nyet.
WTF is the internet anyway? Something my son/daughter uses to chat.
Whats a blog? Duh?
Can you tell your rear end from the front? Ummm... let me see now...
These are the idiots who take decisions regarding technology policy of a nation that is poised for greatness. I'm not saying all of them are like that. Some probably can tell which side their bums lie and still fewer do probably know exactly what the internet is. The problem is, all the good people are quickly shunted off to god forsaken locations where they are probably in charge of maintaining records on the daily changes in the color of tribal faecal matter. Its the ones who are good at politics, schmoozing with politicians, wiggling their fingers under the table, who get the plum posts.
And what do they do?

This blog tells us, what lies in future for us in this country. Writing blog is a fundamental right of expression, which was taken away. According to this govt. law like POTA can't be brought back, bec. this will harm the terrorists, but yes these babu's can easily take away our fundamental constituional right. What a shameful day for democracy & India as well. We should be shameful for our choice in electing bunch of idiots.
